Conversations

Conversations have always been my number one method of educational provision. Conversations have been hard during the pandemic. We had loads of amazing talks during the first lockdown. But then we just got sick of each other. Conversations have been boring and difficult and often leading to arguments. But they are coming back. We have outings and meetings and things to talk about. We talk about friends, books we're reading, telly shows, relationships both real and fictional. Pneumatization (from Skellig), the sexualization of young girls (from Slug), edible hedges ( from Wood School), music, art, drawing, animation techniques from YouTube, are making conversations happen again. And I am rather grateful.
